Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

When you use Widdy, we collect: account information (name, email, password on registration), workspace data (channel credentials, contacts, conversation messages), and usage data (logs, IP addresses, browser type, pages visited).

2. How we use your information

To provide and operate the Widdy service; to authenticate your identity and secure your account; to process messages between you and your customers via connected channels; to send transactional emails (password resets, invitations); and to improve and develop new features.

3. Third-party services

Widdy integrates with third-party messaging platforms (Meta, Telegram, Twilio, etc.) on your behalf. When you connect a channel, you authorise Widdy to send and receive messages through that platform. Each platform's own privacy policy governs how they handle data.

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. OAuth tokens and API credentials are stored encrypted and never exposed in plaintext outside the server environment.

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@widdy.app.

6. Cookies

Widdy uses session cookies solely to maintain your authenticated session. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact privacy@widdy.app to exercise these rights.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or via an in-app notice.
